On ride home, as soon as I got up to motorway speeds, noticed a distinct head-shake. Returned to dealer, who balanced the front wheel. Whilst doing so, they noticed that it had a small buckle. They agreed to replace the wheel.
The engine is paired with a 6-speed transmission and KTM says the top two gears have been revised for a more comprehensive speed range. So, I have a '18 1290 Super Adventure R. The motor and suspension on this thing is top notch, 100% best I've ever experienced. But I have two major issues with this bike - First one is that it's so capable off-road that I have often found myself in over my head. The seat is 35.5 inches, my leg is 32 inches.
